Darth Vader

 I put off painting Darth Vader for a long time as I was intimidated by trying to make all that black look good. After painting up Anakin in a day I decided to do the same for ol Darth so I could make a stupid 10 year challenge post on Facebook. I used 3 different types of black, 2 highlight colours and 2 different washes to try and differentiate between the 3 materials that make up the entire mini. I think it worked and the red glow was achieved with a couple of glazes so I'm happy with that.

I enjoyed painting these two so much I ordered one of the May 4th specials so I have a clone army on the way. Maybe I should have got the empire?
